Two unique, Heidts-equipped Muscle Cars Debut at LS Fest

Two very interesting builds are scheduled to debut at the 2011 Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green, KY.

The first is a ’66 Nova owned by Tobi Johnson and constructed by D & Z Customs, a long-time Heidts dealer out of Kewaskum, WI.

The Nova features Heidts’ new Nova-specific Pro-G suspension system up front, and a Pro-G independent rear suspension system out back. Under the hood, the Nova is powered by a 500-hp GM LS1 engine ahead of a Gearstar transmission. The car also features QA1 coil overs and rides on Nitto tires wrapped around Forgeline wheels.

Heidts-Equipped AMC

The second Heidts-equipped car making its debut at the 2011 LS Fest is a very unique (and very customized) ’69 AMX.

What?? An AMC with a Heidts suspension? Yes sir! Once again, Randy Johnson and the crew at D & Z Customs have come up with a truly unique custom application: the installation of a Heidts Pro-G front suspension into this wild AMX. Owned and driven by Jimi Day, this custom fabrication also makes use of Ridetech coil overs, Wilwood brakes and Rushforth wheels.

Under the hood lives a GM LS3 engine, Be Cool radiator and Vintage Air system.

Kudos to D & Z for their work on both of these amazing muscle cars … and be watching your favorite magazines and web sites for feature stories on both.
