Racers and hot rod owners returned to the Autobahn Raceway in Joliet this year for the annual Heidts Performance Car Challenge in June. The three day event featured a BBQ and tour of the Heidts facility on Friday along with a car show on Saturday and two days of racing. Both the North and South tracks were open this year for racing along with the Wilwood Speed Stop and Nitto Autocross events.
